REINDEER BABIES!

We’re talking ALL things Reindeer THIS Sunday at Turkey Red. Join us for an informative evening of discussion as we discuss all things related to owning reindeer. The meeting starts a 6 pm in the meeting room behind Turkey Red, which will be closed.

IT’S IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT WE WILL NOT HAVE REINDEER AT THIS MEETING. 

Our tentative schedule looks like this:

• 6:00 What’s different about raising Reindeer?
• 6:20-6:45 What is ROBA? And the benefits of membership
• 6:45-7:00 State Requirements and related questions
• 7:00-7:30 Common diseases and vaccines
• 7:30-8:15 Calving

We’ll have current Reindeer owners on hand to answer your questions. Plus Greg Finstad of UAF’s Reindeer Research Program will also be on hand to present information on calving and what to keep in your baby backpack.
There will be ample opportunities to get all your questions answered. You’ll make connections with other people who are new to the process as well. This is a great place to network and find someone else just starting out too.
